Rick Ostrander
Dean of Undergraduate Studies and history professor, John Brown University, Sildam Springs, AR. He is the author of The Life of Prayer in the World of Science: Protestants, Prayer and American Culture 1870-1930 (2000). Ostrander’s book provides important historical context for current research and discussion on the efficacy of prayer. He earned his Ph.D. in American History from the University of Notre Dame in 1996.
