Harold Koenig

Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Associate Professor of Medicine as well as co-director of the Center for Spirituality, Theology and Health at the Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Koenig has published extensively in the fields of mental health, geriatrics, and religion, with over 275 scientific peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and 31 books in print or preparation. He is also founder and editor-in-chief of Science and Theology News, a monthly international newspaper stimulating research, education, and dialogue in science and theology. His research on religion, health, and ethical issues in medicine has been featured on over 50 national and international TV news programs. He has twice been nominated for the Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion.
