I too pray for our leaders, for this nation, and God’s grace to forgive us our sins. We as a nation have made a mockery of the moral and just things of life. Everything that should be taboo is now trendy. God forgive us. There are many examples in the Bible where God destroyed cities and nations for lack of respect for him. We as a nation should be praying daily for our leaders, President, military heads, all the way down to our neighbor next door. We need to pray for each other.

Praying for our leaders develops love for them. Sometimes their misconduct discourages. In fact, they need prayers for God’s intervention.

Our enemies pray for their leaders ,too.
Then the killing starts.
Prayer can be verrrry dangerous!

Yes, it is my freedom to do so, and it is my duty as a Christian to support our leaders, even when I disagree with them. I don’t have to like what they do, but I admire them for their services. When I continually disagree, I vote the other way.

No. Prayer does nothing. It is simply a way to feel like you are doing something constructive without actually doing anything.
If you want your elected officials to do a good job, you need to pay attention to what the government is up to and make sure that our officials are working in the best interest of the country and not just themselves.

Yes, I do Pray for the leaders of our free country. I Pray that God will guide and direct the decisions they make and that God can help our country to get back on track, we have lost so much of our country’s proud work ethics and morals and family responsibilities. I Pray we can wake up before we are brought to our knees.

Yes, I definitely pray for the leaders in government positions more than before. Some of our leaders today are more concern about getting the vote and have actually lost contact with the common American people. I mean the Americans who generation of families built this country. There are very important issues facing our leaders today and they need to pray for God’s wisdom not man wisdom. I am Catholic. My prayer is this:
God touch the leaders of this country to do what is morally right. Send your Angels to guide them in all their decisions. Give them strength to do the right thing. Guide them, love them, nurture them, and most of all give them your wisdom, insight, knowledge and understanding. God open their eyes to the truth and help them to remain silent to hear you. Help this nation to elect other leaders that is of your grace who can stand by them and help them to see your truth and your way. God a special pray for our President who came into office from the beginning with a great task continue to God him. Amen

I try and attend Holy Mass every day. As a Roman Catholic I believe in the True Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist and therefore feel honored to be able to partake in this miracle every day.
While at Mass each and every time prayers are offered up for the leaders of our Nation/Government that they would be enlightened to follow the Will of God. Prayer is essential and even though we all have free will to iether choose right or wrong, offering prayer for others helps us deal with the outcome of the choice of others. As Roman Catholics we are called to pray for everyones salvation because after all, Jesus died for His Children, all of us, and in the end we pray that all will be one, under one shepherd, Jesus Christ, Saviour, Messiah, Son of the Most High God.

Our pastor at our Luthern Church does, for the congregation. At times, if I am thinking of that, I will as God to help them do the right thing. I often pray for healthcare providers, as that is what I did for so very long.
